Track Who Uses What

Assigning subscriptions to family members helps you understand who's using which services and how costs are distributed across your household.

When Adding a New Subscription

1. Click Add Subscription from your dashboard
2. Fill in the subscription details (name, cost, billing cycle)
3. Look for the Family Member dropdown
4. Select who uses this subscription
5. Save the subscription

If you've set a default family member, they'll be pre-selected automatically.

For Existing Subscriptions

1. Go to My Subscriptions page
2. Click Edit on any subscription
3. Update the Family Member field
4. Save your changes

Benefits of Assigning Members

Track Individual Usage: See which family member has the most subscriptions and how much they're spending.

Identify Overlaps: Discover if multiple family members are paying for similar services (like separate music streaming subscriptions).

Better Budgeting: Understand your family's subscription distribution at a glance and make informed decisions about what to keep or cancel.

Pro tip: Assign shared subscriptions (like family Netflix plans) to the person who pays for them, or create a "Shared" family member for household subscriptions.
